We collect personal information on this site in two places: the signup form and the job application form.

If you sign up

On the signup form we collect your email, and your phone number if you choose to add it. With it we keep the IP address the form was sent from.

We use your email to send BYND news, offers and opening updates. If you add a phone number and check the text box, we use it to send the same, by text. We never send either without your checked, opted-in consent, and we never sell or share your information. Only the service providers that store it for us handle it.

You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any message we send. Reply STOP to any text to stop those. Either takes effect within a few business days.

We keep a record of what you agreed to, when, and from which IP address, so we can show it if ever asked. We keep your information only as long as we're in touch with you about BYND. To see or delete what we hold about you, email info@byndcoffeebar.com.

If you apply for a job

When you apply on our careers page, we collect what you send: your name, your email, the role you want, your note if you add one, and your résumé. Our hiring team uses it to consider you for a role at BYND and to get back to you.

Your application and résumé go to BYND's hiring records, which are hosted by cloud service providers. An AI service helps our hiring team read and sort applications; a person on our team makes every decision. We never sell your application.

We keep an application while we consider you, and afterwards in case another role opens that suits you. If passing it to our hiring records fails, we hold a copy for up to 30 days so it can be sent again, then it is deleted.

When you visit

We count visits, the pages people open, the buttons they press and the forms they start or get stuck on, so we can see what works. Counting uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device, except a small note that you can choose to leave there to opt out (see below). These counts do not hold your IP address, your name or anything that follows you from one visit to the next.

Each count carries the page, how you got here as a category like search or social, any campaign tag in the link, your country and region, the kind of device, system and browser, like phone and Safari, the day of the week and the hour, how fast the page loaded, any error the page ran into (a few words, with links and numbers removed), and whether you use reduced motion. It never carries your full browser details. We do not sell or share these counts. Our host, Cloudflare, stores them for us for about three months.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we count nothing. You can also opt out on one device by opening byndcoffeebar.com/?notrack=1, which keeps a small note on that device saying not to count it; ?notrack=0 removes it. Cloudflare may also measure page speed and visit totals as it delivers the site.
